Paradox: The thinner, the harder it is to seal
The thickness of inflatable paddles is usually only 10-15 centimeters, but the internal air pressure needs to reach 15-20 kPa - equivalent to 1.5 times that of car tires. Thin walled high pressure is the ultimate challenge in materials engineering.
The Three Gates of Leakage
Substrate micropores: Ordinary polyester fabric fibers have large gaps, allowing gas molecules to penetrate
Seam cracking: adhesive bonding, delamination after long-term bending
Fragile puncture: underwater reefs, gravel on the shore, easily broken upon touch
Hubei Jinlong's Solution
The first step is to lock the gas base cloth. Using ultra fine and high-strength polyester, the fiber fineness is reduced to one-third of ordinary materials, the weaving density is increased by 60%, the micro porosity is less than 0.1%, and gas molecules are difficult to penetrate.
Step two, airtight coating. Double sided high-frequency hot pressed composite TPU film, non adhesive bonding, is a molecular level fusion bonding. The elastic modulus of TPU matches that of the base fabric, and it does not crack after bending 100000 times.
Step three, overall molding. The main body of the paddle board is formed by one-time heat sealing, reducing the number of seams by 80%. The key parts are reinforced with layered stacking, and the puncture resistance strength reaches over 800N.
measured data
Inflate to 18kPa, let stand for 72 hours, pressure drop less than 3%
Simulate bending 50000 times without delamination or bubbles
Standard load 150kg, deformation less than 5%, rebound without attenuation
Thin, is design; Not leaking, it's a skill
