1、 Test background
A certain third-party logistics company will use the 4-meter width produced by Hubei Jinlong New Materials Co., Ltd. between June 20, 2025 and July 5, 2025“Jinlong PVC multi-layer composite tarpaulin”(hereinafter referred to as "Golden Dragon Tarpaulin") is used for the transportation of the Pearl River Delta Sichuan Chongqing trunk line, which is 1680km long and lasts for 15 days. During this period, it has experienced three rainstorm and two high humidity nights (RH ≥ 90%). The focus of this actual test is to verify the moisture resistance performance of the goods throughout the entire process of "factory loading trunk transportation warehouse unloading".
2、 Testing method
1. Comparison group: Traditional PE woven tarpaulin (550 g/m ²).
2. Measurement point arrangement: 24 sets of wireless temperature and humidity recorders are placed on the top, middle, and bottom of the cargo stack for each vehicle; Six sets of rain gauges are placed on the outer side of the tarpaulin.

4、 Mechanism analysis
1. Multi layer composite structure: surface PVC coating+middle TPU water blocking film+inner anti condensation non-woven fabric, forming a "unidirectional moisture discharge, reverse water blocking" barrier.
2. Free splicing with a width of 4 meters: longitudinally seamless, eliminating the problem of water leakage at the joints of traditional PE tarpaulins.
3. Surface energy optimization: Special coating reduces water film adhesion, and the surface dries within 5 minutes after rain, reducing secondary evaporation and humidification.
5、 On site photos and phenomena
One hour after the rainstorm, the outer surface of the golden dragon tarpaulin rolled down in bead shape, and there was no water seepage on the top of the carriage; There are obvious water lines at the joints of PE tarpaulin.
When unloading from the warehouse, the moisture content meter reading of the cardboard box covered by Jinlong tarpaulin was 8.4%, while the reading of the PE tarpaulin covered was 9.9%, with a significant difference.
6、 User feedback

7、 Conclusion
The actual measurement shows that the moisture-proof performance of Jinlong tarpaulin is one order of magnitude better than that of traditional PE tarpaulin in the "factory warehouse" full link high humidity and rainstorm environment; It can reduce the cargo damage rate by more than 80% and is suitable for the transportation of food, paper products, and electronic products that require high dryness.
